I believe in having a positive attitude to life.
I am passionate about maintaining a healthy lifestyle and personally see the benefits that physical activity can provide to a post-natal body and mind.
I have three children. A ten year old son; eight year old daughter and a 4-year old little girl. Life is busy! I can appreciate how hard it is to find time to prioritise your own health and well-being when raising a young family. However, it is proven that making the time to improve our physical wellbeing directly improves our emotional and mental wellbeing.
I have enjoyed being a physiotherapist for the last 15-years. I have spent the last eight years training exclusively in women’s health physiotherapy working in private practice in Auckland. My ongoing education is focused on Womens Health and Pelvic Floor physiotherapy.
Pre and Post-natally, I can can assist with pelvic pain, strength and conditioning and preparation for birth, and the post-natal period. I also work with pelvic floor dysfunction and other musculoskeletal injuries.
Fitness and movement has always been a big part of my life. I enjoy a number of different sports and was drawn to Pilates 15years ago after an injury, from this point on I have never looked back.
Pilates for me is the ultimate way for the body to feel good and energised.
Through my passion of Pilates I have since completed a course focus
Fitness and movement has always been a big part of my life. I enjoy a number of different sports and was drawn to Pilates 15years ago after an injury, from this point on I have never looked back.
Pilates for me is the ultimate way for the body to feel good and energised.
Through my passion of Pilates I have since completed a course focusing on foundation work, which is where we must all start to build on our strength, stability and muscle development.
I continue to train and grow my knowledge to keep each class fresh and interesting.
Whether you are just thinking about getting into some type of exercise or looking at complimenting another sport, Pilates works for everyone.
Our environment is relaxed, enjoyable and welcoming.
I look forward to getting your body moving and feeling amazing!
